    Brahms: Symphony No. 2
     
    Music from three continents is featured during our annual appearance at the Missouri Theatre. Stephanie Berg’s Ravish and Mayhem, which was orchestrated for the CCO in 2013, opens the program. Leo Saguiguit is the soloist for his own arrangements of Filipino folk songs. Brahms’ second symphony balances beautiful sweeping melodic lines with rhythmic energy.
